Candidates interested in interning or joining one of International Paper’s entry-level development programs should meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 3.0 Overall GPA for Roles in Finance, Global Citizenship (Communications), Global Supply Chain, Human Resources, Information Technology, Design and Sales
- Minimum 2.8 Overall GPA for Manufacturing/ REACH Roles
- Interested in working in one of International Paper’s functional areas
- In a *major we recruit for and/or have 1-3 years of business function related experience
- For internships, you must be enrolled at a university during or following the internship.
- Will NOT require a sponsorship to work in the United States for employment now or in the future (eg. H-1B, E-1, J-1, F-1 or l-1)

- Finance: Bachelors or Masters in the following degrees: Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, International Business
- Global Citizenship (Communications): Journalism, Public Relations, Communications
- Global Supply Chain: Business-Related Degree, Forestry, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management
- Human Resources: Bachelors or Masters in Human Resource Management
- Information Technology: Business Analytics, Business Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management Info Systems, Software Engineering, Electronics Technology, Supply Chain Management
- Legal: First Year Law Student with an aptitude and desire for a career in law
- Manufacturing/REACH: Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Paper Science Engineering, Health & Safety, Fire & Safety Protection, Industrial Hygiene
- North American Container Design: Bachelors or Masters in the following degrees: Graphic Design, Mechanical Engineering, Packaging
- North American Container Sales: Bachelors or Masters in the following degrees: Professional Sales (preferred), Business-Related Degree, Marketing
